Let’s get ready to tattoo!
Part 1 of Boot Camp is designed for all things preparing you to start your tattoo journey with us. 10 weeks of live classes on zoom discussing all your equipment and supplies needed to begin your journey. We will explain how your equipment is used, and when to use what. Coil machine or rotary? We will break down the differences between them and decide which type of tattoo machine is right for you. We will discuss power supplies, all types of needles, and tattooing best practices for station set up to be compliant with all regulatory bodies throughout the United States. This course will have you ready to understand all of your equipment.
Part 2 of Boot Camp is designed to get you certified for your blood-borne pathogen certification. 34 lessons and 5 tests are included. We will go through over 80 hours of tattooing theory for tattooing best safety practices, cross-contamination, aseptic techniques, and even the history of tattooing, to meet standards for licensure for most U.S. state requirements.
