Advanced Realism in Black & Gray is probably the most popular selling tattoo style in the tattoo industry today. With how much you will improve, and what you will earn in return, this class is an absolute must have in your tattooing arsenal if you intend on being a well-respected artist in today’s tattoo industry. Must have prior tattooing experience and your own tattooing equipment to attend this course. Very minimal book work, mostly hands-on and a step by step guide on the principles of the Black & Gray Realism style. We will cover how to create the artwork, the stencil, what tools are best to use, and of course the technique.

Many people believe that the origins of the Black & Gray realism style started in the prisons on the West Coast of California. A change from the hard bold lines and bold dark shades of traditional style tattooing, Black & Gray Realism is all about fine lines and very soft shades. There is a very special technique that involves the way you mix inks, blend blacks, create grays, what needles are used, and even how you physically execute the tattoo. But make no mistake about it, a simple class in Black & Gray Realism will change everything about your tattooing. I don’t think we have to mention that this is the absolute most popular style in the industry today with nearly (1) in every (3) clients we have wanting something done in Black & Gray Realism. Of course cities and even countries vary in what art styles are most popular or in the highest demand, but we still believe that this tattooing style tops the charts around the world as the most sought after style in tattooing today.
