BODY PIERCING PROGRAM – 80 HOURS

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

This program provides instruction in body piercing. Theory classes and hands-on practical applications provide students with the knowledge and practical experience to start a career as a Body Piercing Professional.

DURATION

This program has a duration of 80 hours that students complete in a period of 2 weeks.

DELIVERY MODALITY

This program is offered in a hybrid modality:

• Theory is completed online weekly.

• Lab and services are completed at the school (onsite) weekly.

ONSITE CLASS SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

CREDENTIAL AWARDED

Upon successful completion of the program students receive a diploma.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This program includes instruction in all aspects necessary for the body piercing profession. Students learn about body piercing rules and regulations, safety and sanitation, indications, contraindications, managing complications, side effects, stations and client care, body piercing techniques, body piercing jewelry, tools, and procedures. Students receive 50 hours of theory instruction, 20 hours of laboratory practice, and 10 hours of hands-on live practice and services.
