Cosmetic Bundle Overview

Courses in the bundle include:

Permanent makeup, which is essentially a cosmetic tattoo technique that creates filled-in brows, crisp eyeliner, and tinted lips that can last for over a year. Permanant makeup is also known as micropigmentation.

Microblading, which is a semipermanent eyebrow tattooing technique that creates the illusion of fuller, more evenly shaped brows, using blades instead of needles to insert the ink into the skin.

Paramedical Tattooing, which is for scar cover-ups, stretch mark cover-ups, and 3D Areola Tattooing for Breast Cancer Survivors. Paramedical tattooing is a form of cosmetic permanent makeup that uses natural pigment to create or restore images and colors on the skin. Skin camouflaging is a tattooing procedure that uses flesh tone pigments to conceal scars or stretch marks.

Scalp micropigmentation, which is commonly called SMP, is a nonsurgical treatment that uses microneedles (sometimes called nano needles) to embed dots of pigment into the scalp, to mimic the appearance of real hair follicles that have just been shaved. It works by making thinning hair—even long hair—look fuller, or creating the illusion of a full head of hair with a buzz cut, on a fully or partially bald head.

Tattoo removal, which is how we remove tattoos using a tattoo machine to inject a proprietary gel fluid into the tattoo area, to breakdown the ink, and bring it to the surface of the skin. Sessions are required for this procedure, and it is capable of removing all colors of ink, which laser removal cannot do.

Our program includes home study, classroom, and hands-on training. All of our trainers are Certificated Micropigmentation Instructors (CMI) under the AAM.  Upon completion of training, students will receive a certification for hours of completion, and a BBP (Bloodborne Pathogens) certification.
